I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
It’s been 50 days since I’ve written you.
Why? I’ll spare you the details. But let’s just say I needed to focus on my family and get my house in order.
During this time I stayed away from ALL news, even the rare sources we’ve grown to appreciate.
And apart from my day job, I’ve been working to help small business owners in my community keep their doors open
I also stopped drawing—at least digitally. Tho the kids got me back into crayons. They’re the real artists.
Even inspired me to buy paints, and I created my own canvas using drop cloths from the local hardware store.
But most of all, I’ve been praying.
And what I’m hearing should give all sufferers new hope and new direction.
Call it ‘spiritual overhaul’…
Came to an understanding that while prayer is not a technique for curing diseases, it DOES contribute enormously to the enjoyment of abundant health and to the cure of numerous mental, emotional, or nervous ailments.
Prayer can transform the angry and irritable and depressed into paragons of patience. Prayer, for those who truly believe, helps the suffering find inspiration.
We can always make the choice.
For mind is always dominant over matter. And spirit is correlated with the mind.
If you really know God and desire to find Him and become like Him, then survival is assured regardless of the handicaps of time and space.
Physical status may handicap the mind, and dark thoughts may delay spiritual attainment, but none of these obstacles can defeat the whole-souled choice of will.
So join me in nurturing hope (through prayer).
I’m back, if you’ll have me, to draw here and write here.
Thank you,
<3 EKO

Good to see you...have missed you....
Seems to be a season of "putting your house in order" pretty much across the board for those who hear Him...and choose to listen😌
EKO!!!
Missed you & your art so much. Your art and words are like a light that I look forward to. It’s totally understandable... I hope all is well with your family and lil babes. I was praying for you all. I’m soo glad your back and your words ring so true. I’ve had so many epiphanies since you last posted - the Holy Spirit is impressing so many things upon us- and I see us learning from each other and sharing ... it’s so beautiful... Its so kind of you to help businesses 👏👏 you have a servants heart .. I was just studying and reading again about the way Yeshua washed the disciples feet... it’s incredible.. I’ve read it and heard the story so many times and then it just really hit me hard. 🎶
Your art post: I like the boy walking ...like a simple superhero for our Creator.
We have so much to give, even a simple smile.
That’s the best thing some ppl get all day.
We are transforming into who He wants us to be. So although we missed you ... your journey with Him, and your family is so much more important.
It’s brilliant and beautiful and I feel the
motion of life.
I was taking car rides just to keep moving ..
Let us use every crayon in our box to color the world.
My favorite color as a kid was always periwinkle 😌 I think I just liked the name most.
Prayer is so powerful ✨
Big blessings to you and we welcome you back with open arms.
