Interesting. Because I ALMOST unsubscribed then thought "wait a minute you've read his other stuff and this doesn't add up, so finish the article." I finished it and by the end you had not shunned church or Christ-believing people, you shunned the Pharisees and Sadducees of today. Nothing wrong with that.
Bless you for this. I am currently being attacked by my ex-son and his friends. The hate coming form those who have lost their way is toxic and terrifying. I know their world is falling apart and they are terrified but their response is not apology but hate. It is so sad and scary to watch. I appreciate this message from you so much as it helps to just release their toxic energy. I know where I stand with CHRIST and that has gotten me through this and what will be a difficult time ahead. There is always a blessing in the darkness. ❤️🔥
Rage-quitting by those afflicted by spiritual dissonance is disturbing. It's both disturbing and hurtful when it comes from a loved one. You may never know when a loved one will slingshot back into G_d's orbit.
spiritual dissonance. Interesting. I have been saying for a while that mass, cognitive dissonance is making people crazy right now. But this is the next level. I will have to think about this.
Exactly. God knows and I put that in His loving hands. My job now is to process and purge the violent violation of my field so I can be at peace once again.
I hope your life radiates enough light that they inquire and investigate as to what you have. There's always hope. That's the gospel of Jesus Christ and his redeeming love.
I am so sorry about your ex-son. One of the saddest verses in the Bible:
Luke 12:51-53 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
I loved the article and forwarded it to my husband. I thought you made an extremely valid point. If we have been lied to about everything, why not question faith too? And why has so much of the bible been withheld? Like our history books, what are these gatekeepers afraid we will learn, understand, and question? Thank you for the article.
Go to a search engine that you trust and ask what Books have been excluded from the Bible. You will get more links than you can probably read. The "why" is the interesting part to me.
You might be interested in getting a copy of "The Nag Hammadi Library" and a book about the Dead Sea Scrolls to learn what's been withheld from the Bible. There is SO much more.
“Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:25
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20.
We are all prisoners of our faiths, beliefs, and culture.
Plato's Allegory of the Cave is a philosophical concept that explores the nature of knowledge. In the allegory, prisoners mistake shadows for reality. One prisoner escapes, discovers the real world, and then returns to try to enlighten the others, but they reject his claims, even threatening him. This highlights the difficulty of persuading people to accept new truths and the nature of knowledge acquisition.
The prisoners remain the gatekeepers to their "comfort".
Boy, doesn't that explain a lot about the state of affairs we find ourselves in today. Brought into crystal clear focus by the scamdemic. And where were the religious gatekeepers then?
Your commentary is different from any I’ve ever read. It makes me think and reflect. Nothing is more dangerous and debilitating than a closed mind. God bless you.
What a magnificent summary of the gift of those departures, and the meaning of the new subscribers. Your work speaks to my deep questioning for most of my adult life and frustration with the rigid orthodoxy of “religion” that stifles SEEKING God and for me, Christ, in our daily lives. I am awe of the way you write and capture this - and make it so clear and cogently presented. God bless you - keep up your work - Those with eyes to see and ears to hear will find you.
EKO, I won’t unsubscribe because I do like your writing and I do think you are honest. But I do think that you threw a salvo onto those of us who follow Christ in the way that He instructed us in the Bible. If we didn’t have his church and his disciples following his instructions, you may not know him today. Blessings on all of you who find God in every day things. He is also in sacred things.
If people would take just enough time to learn who really runs this planet, they would see that religion is a control system, designed for mass-populace CONTROL, so that a proportionately small group of individuals can control an entire planet of 7billion humans. The same way a rancher can run a thousand head of cattle with just a handful of wranglers. By CONTROLLING the herd.
Religion ='to bind, to tie, to re-bind'.
Humans are spiritual beings. We are designed to be able to go directly to Source. Religion reroutes us into churches, Bibles, texts and 'authorities' to tell us who God is. And who we are, and what to believe. Religions were created by the llluminati, the 'Enlightened Ones' specifically to PREVENT the masses from becoming enlightened, to go directly to Source.
Religion is designed to keep the masses divided, ignorant, and obedient. To CONTROL.
All you have to do is do the math. This entire planet is run by 13 bloodlines. Thirteen bloodlines of pure satanic evil. The llluminati, aka the Black Nobility, Brotherhood of the Snake, Knights of Malta, etc. And they control EVERYTHING. We are THEIR labor force. We build the cities, grow the food, breed the soldiers, clean the cities, and work their industries.
We speak the language THEY gave us.
We learn what THEY teach us.
We image ourselves by the history THEY show us.
We perceive our World as THEY explained it to us.
We behave the way THEY trained us.
And we believed what THEY told us to believe.
Just do the math. There are roughly 800 of them and 7billion of us. Did you really think they were going to give us a religion that would empower us?
The ancient cultures have histories that tell of their beautiful abundant world BEFORE the Evil came and destroyed their culture and enslaved the people.
The Zulu, who have one of the longest surviving oral histories said “The Evil came as friends, bearing gifts and amazing magic, and very slowly the Evil destroyed our culture and enslaved the people, with their words and their stories.”
It wasn’t weapons that enslaved the people, it was Language and Religion.
"We are designed to be able to go directly..." Yes, And we are designed to know the Truth if we listen. They may have tried to hide some scripture and knowledge. But it doesn't matter. It is all accessible to us. The Gospels are enough. What Jesus said and did, is enough.
My wife and I have wondered whether you've run across M. Scott Peck's "Stages of Spiritual Development" (which I think he included in his book The Different Drum, and which he derived from James W. Fowler's book Stages of Faith: The Psychology of Human Development, a more academic study of the topic.)
We often find ourselves pondering and using these stages to describe what we're seeing in the world right now, with large numbers of people ending back up in Stage 2: Formal-Institutional as a reaction to the chaos in the world and the craving for simple, black and white answers and firm rules and certainty on the one hand, and large numbers being propelled into Stage 4: Mystical-Communal, in response to the very same chaos.
FWIW. Interesting times. Keep up your good work in the world, friend.
I’ve been reading for free for about 6 months-thank you. Just upgraded to paid. We cannot believe most we’ve been taught/told. You’re refreshing and I’m glad to support! God bless
It may be that all we need is to read what Jesus said, did and asked of us. It is helpful to imagine these things and we should not be afraid of it. Like The Chosen. Use discernment but allow these tools to help bring the scripture to life. God continues to reveal to us in different ways. My key take away from your writing is that... we, in fact, are free by Him.

I love this comment.
And I love you.
Exactly!
Dear EKO,
Thank you for THE LESSON.
I've never had a blog. Never had followers. But there were always those who loved my comments and replied to them. They gave me strength.
I was one of those who thought they were alone.
Thank you all from the heart. Stay safe.

There is always hope, indeed. Always sending love in response to the negative and moving on.

So true. We knew this time frame would be biblical. These verses help to keep us balanced on this Way.

And why has so much of the bible been withheld? Like our history books, what are these gatekeepers afraid we will learn, understand, and question? Thank you for the article.
I apologize, I am late to the conversation, but what part of the Bible has been withheld?
I have not heard this before and am curious.
Thanks,
Mike

I've been saying it for years, no middleman needed, churches corrupted by man.
Jesus leads, I follow. Unwavering faith.
Keep up the good work, EKO.

I am a prisoner only to Jesus.
John 14:6 (NKJV) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 8:32 (NKJV) And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:36 (NKJV) Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

This right here was key for me:
People aren't losing faith in God. Trump. America.
We're losing faith in gatekeepers.
Not less spiritual. Not less patriotic. More honest about spirit.
Not abandoning Him. Abandoning His self-proclaimed owners and decoders.
Amen and thank you for all that you do...keep the light burning

It’s never comfortable when the questions come. But growth comes not from comfort.

Thank you for sharing your perspective! I will share (along with EKO’s rebuttal from today) with a few friends that resisted the original EKO post.

"Truth if we listen"
Yes!
Like the Buddha says "There is one Truth, but many paths to it".
If we listen!
Just upgraded to paid. Thank you for your courage and willingness to ask the questions you ask.
